Dodge has unveiled the 2023 Hornet small crossover in celebration of Speed Week. Based on the Alfa Romeo Tonale, the Hornet will have a 268-horsepower turbo-4 in the GT model and a 288-horsepower hybrid powertrain in the R/T PHEV. Dodge adds some styling cues to its muscle cars and tweaks the suspension to make it sportier than the average family hauler.
Formula 1 has just changed its engine rules for 2026. The cars will still use the 1.6-liter turbocharged V-6 and hybrid system, but the hybrid’s output will increase from 160 to 469 hp. Cars will also use synthetic fuel and less of it. The new rules pave the way for Porsche and Audi to enter motorsport.
Singer unveiled a convertible version of its Turbo Study at Monterey Car Week. The new topless interpretation of the 964-generation Porsche 911 features carbon fiber body panels inspired by the 930 and is offered with either a 450 or 510 hp 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged, air-cooled 6-cylinder engine.
