Bajaj Auto is preparing to increase the business of electric vehicles in the country. While the company previously applied for registration of the names Pulsar Elan and Pulsar Eleganz, now the company has patented the sign “Bajaj Blade”.

While registering a name doesn’t necessarily guarantee the launch of the model, she hints that the company has immediate plans to expand the lineup. The new name “Bajaj Blade” was a trademark under “Class 12”, and it is not entirely clear for which segment this name can be used (as it covers bicycles, scooters, and electric vehicles).

While there is no confirmation, the company is increasing its presence in the segment of electric vehicles. Only recently did he open a reservation for Brush electric scooter in Calcutta, in the process of increasing scooter reach in the country. He also plans to present an additional EV offering that could be sold next to the existing Chetak EV. The same was observed during testing on public roads a few months ago.

A carmaker from Pune has previously reported that its future EVs will be sold under the “Brushes” brand, if so, there is a chance Bajaj The blade, being EV, is thin.

Another possibility is that the title can also be reserved for another passenger bicycle. The company is currently retailing models such as the CT100 and Dam in the suburban segment, and both of these models are also quite popular. Platina entered the top ten best-selling two-wheeled vehicles in fiscal year 2022 with sales of 5,755,847 units, and this only reflects the company’s strengths in the segment. However, both suburban offers from Bajaj have been around for quite some time, and the new launch could certainly refresh the situation for the company.
