Ashok Leyland demonstrates at Excon 2022 “H-Series LNG engine”.

At Excon 2022, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Ashok Leyland showcased the “L-series LNG engine”. The H-Series CNG engine (4 and 6 cylinders) is designed for off-highway / CEV customers, and it will be the first of its kind in the CEV / mining and off-road segment.

The H-Series CNG engine has a number of features, including ECU-controlled gas leak detection, improved cold start capability, improved lower-level torque and equal torque from 1,200 rpm to 2,000 rpm; gear-based torque management for better fuel economy; rugged engine valves and valve seats for LNG operation; a proven, rugged engine for CEV applications; turbocharged engine provides higher torque, fuel efficiency, better handling and transient response; maintenance-free engine.

The 11th International Exhibition of Construction Equipment and Construction Technologies EXCON 2022 is held from 17 to 21 May at the International Exhibition Center Bangalore (BIEC), Bangalore.
