Stefano Mesa won Sunday’s CCS/ASRA 39th Annual Race of Champions Unlimited Superbike, setting another lap record at the 3.51-mile Daytona International Speedway. The new lap record of 1:45.538 was set mid-afternoon on the third lap of the CCS Unlimited Superbike race and was 0.3 seconds faster than the lap record set by Mesa on Saturday.

Mesa went undefeated over three days, winning all nine of his races in the Intermediate and Unlimited classes. On Friday, he started the weekend with wins in the Superbike Middleweight and Unlimited Grand Prix classes. On Saturday, he started the day with wins in the GTU and GTO classes and ended the day with wins in the Middleweight and Unlimited Supersport classes. And on Sunday, Mesa capped off the weekend with wins in both the ASRA Sportbike and ASRA Superstock races and capped off another lap-record grand finale at Daytona International Speedway halfway through his run to take the checkered flag in Unlimited Superbike.
