Among the innovations shown by Bluetti was the new EP600+B500 solar generator

Last week, Bluetti showcased its latest innovations at IFA in Berlin, Germany. Its offering included the AC500+B300S combination, the AC200 series and the long-rumored EP600+B500 three-phase solar system, which has a 6kW inverter and a maximum LFP battery capacity of 79kWh.

The EP600’s modular design significantly reduces overall weight and size. The system weighs 123.4 pounds and measures 25 inches by 12.8 inches by 13.3 inches. Complete with a 6,000W bi-directional inverter for AC input and output, the system provides 230/400V AC power for easy operation of almost any household appliance, the company said. In addition, the EP600 also supports up to 6000W of solar power from 150V to 500V and has a solar efficiency of 99.9% MPPT.

As an expansion battery, the B500 is specially designed for the EP600 system. It features a 4960Wh ultra-durable Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, an aluminum alloy exterior, and the same size as the EP600. Each EP600 supports up to 16 battery modules to achieve a total capacity of 79.3 kWh, which Bluti says can cover all the power needs of a home or off-grid for several days or even more than a week. The EP600 and B500 can be stacked to save space indoors or outdoors.

What sets the EP600 apart from other solar generators is the hybrid inverter at the heart of the system. This makes it easy because, as Bluetti explains, it works by simply connecting solar panels to a generator. , which means you only need to connect the solar panels to the solar generator. No solar inverter or MPPT controller required.

Bluetti says the EP600 and B500 systems will be available by the end of autumn in Europe, the UK and Australia. Pre-order is expected to start by November on BLUETTI’s official website. According to James Ray, Bluetti’s director of marketing, the EP600 and B500 combo will sell for less than $9,500.

Please note that as a three-phase 230V/400V system, this EP600 and B500 system is not applicable in countries with 100-120V mains voltage. Another whole home food system is currently being developed for those living in the United States and Japan.
