Before turning back time, Breen faces the very different challenge of this week’s Ypres Rally in Belgium aboard Ford’s modern classic, the Puma Rally1 Hybrid.
“I always enjoy rallying,” Breen said. “I’ve been here quite a few times and last year went extremely well; we were always fighting for the win and I had good speed. We also won the competition in 2019, before it was in the World Cup, so we have good memories.
“We are looking forward to the rally, hopefully we can get a good result and show the speed of the car, it showed its pace on the tarmac from the start, so let’s see what we can do.”
