Car and city: Foshan leads in other cities in the registration of Ulin Hongguan MINIEV in April 2022

Shanghai (Gazgu) – In April 2022, the number of registrations of Wuling Hongguang MINIEV, a mini-model of all-electric car SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW), amounted to 25,297 units, down 3.6% year on year and 40.6% per month. , according to data collected by the Gasgoo Auto Research Institute (GARI).

In terms of registration volume in April 2022, the Hongguang MINIEV is still considered the most efficient model of locally produced new energy passenger vehicle (NEPV) in China. It was also the only Chinese-made NEPV model, the number registered last month exceeded 20,000 units.

As of April 2022, the total number of Hongguang MINIEV registrations was 631,383 units, with 125,312 units registered in the first four months of the year.

With 893 units registered in April, Foshan was the №1 city in terms of monthly registrations of the most popular NEPV model. Compared to the previous month, Liuzhou, where Hongguang MINIEV is mass-produced, dropped to one place and took second place.

Among the 10 best cities according to the April registrations Hongguang MINIEV 6 provincial capitals, namely Nanning (4^th), Chengdu (5^th), Zhengzhou (6^th), Shijiazhuang (8^th), Wuhan (9^th), and Hangzhou (10^th).

None of the four top-tier cities – Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen – were included in the list of the top 10 cities in April 2022.
