British electric car subscription service Onto plans to add 600 new Peugeot electric cars to its fleet. 300 of them are e-208 Allure Premium models and 300 are e-2008 GT models.
Onto has been offering Peugeot electric cars since 2018, and the brand is a popular choice among Onto subscribers.
At the moment, Onto has more than 6,000 active subscribers and offers a wide selection of electric vehicles. The service includes insurance, maintenance, breakdown cover and free public charging at over 12,500 chargers across the UK.
The Peugeot e-208 has a 50 kWh battery and has a range of 225 miles (WLTP). The larger e-2008 is also equipped with a 50 kWh unit and has a range of up to 214 miles.
“The Peugeot e-208 and e-2008 have been extremely popular with our customers and have been consistently ordered since joining the fleet,” said Rob Jolley, CEO and co-founder of Onto. “These new vehicles ensure we can keep up with growing demand as our customer base expands and more people switch to electric.”
