For the second model year, the Chevrolet Bolt EUV 2023 will receive a new edition of the Redline Edition, while the rest of the Bolt EV lineup remains unchanged.

The Redline Edition is the look that Chevy has been offering on some of its petrol models for several years. The Bolt EUV Redline Edition gets glossy black 17-inch wheels with red accents, a black and red Bolt EUV badge on the rear hatch and red stickers on the mirrors. Available paint colors include Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic and Silver Flare Metallic.

Inside the Redline Edition has black leather upholstery and red accent stitches, regardless of whether it is paired with a LT or Premier finish. This is usually part of the optional Convenience package on the premium Premier trim.

The Redline Edition is exclusive to the Bolt EUV, which was introduced alongside the updated Bolt EV for the 2022 model year. EUV is essentially better than Bolt EVwith a little extra space where it’s important, and an affordable Super Cruise.

A spokesman for General Motors confirmed that except for the Bolt EUV Redline Edition and one new color – Radiant Red Tintcoat – for both EV and EUV, everything else is carried over to the 2023 model year. Green Car reports.

As a refreshment, both the Bolt EV and the Bolt EUV have a 200-horsepower electric motor, front-wheel drive and a 65 kWh battery. This provides an EPA range of 259 miles for the Bolt EV and 247 miles for the Bolt EUV.

Prices for the 2023 model will be confirmed closer to the start of production, but Chevrolet has done little game availability with updated 2022 models. The base price of the Bolt EV 2022 of $ 31,995 (with destination) was a price reduction of $ 5,500 compared to the 2021 model. The 2022 EUV bolt started at $ 33,995.

But then GM had to hold an extensive battery recall, which led to battery module replacement for many 2017-2019 models. Almost half of these early models prone to defects have been fixed, and in the 2019-2022 cars there was a software / diagnostic tool (and several replacements).

Production of the Bolt EV and EUV at the GM Orion Assembly plant in Orion, Michigan, was also suspended for about six months due to the recall. It started on April 4thaccording to G.M.
