Eicher Tractors, part of Tractors and Farm Equipment (TAFE), has released the new Prima G3 series, a new line of premium tractors. It will be offered in the range of 40 to 60 horsepower, the company said.

Malika Srinivasan, CMD – TAFE, said: “The Eicher brand has been well known for decades for its trust, reliability, durability and versatility in both agriculture and commercial areas. The release of Prima G3 gives the progressive farmers of modern India more productivity, comfort and ease to meet their new aspirations, and offers the increased value that Eicher has always promised. ”

The PRIMA G3 series boasts a new era design with a clear aerodynamic hood, with a single-touch single hood. In addition, there is a high-torque engine – fuel-saving (HT-FS) with liquid cooling, which helps provide greater efficiency for higher performance and fuel economy. In addition, the new multi-speed PTO provides 4 different PTO modes, making the Prima G3 compatible with a variety of agricultural and commercial devices, the statement added.

Dr Lakshmi Venu, DMD, TAFE Motors and Tractors, said: “India’s young and progressive farmers are looking to maximize the return on their agricultural work by focusing on technology and agro-technological solutions, and this is where the Prima G3 would be ideal.”

Eicher is the world’s third-largest tractor manufacturer and the second-largest in India in terms of volumes with annual sales of around 180,000 tractors. TAFE manufactures a number of tractors both on air-cooled and water-cooled platforms and under its four brands – Massey Ferguson, TAFE, Eicher and the Serbian brand of tractors and agricultural machinery – Industrija Mašina i Traktora (IMT).
