Have you ever sat on cruiser with bent legs and outstretched arms thought: “World Health Organization is this bike for?” When it comes to Vulkan S, Kawasaki wants riders to answer to “all”. The Vulcan S provides up to 18 possible ergonomic adjustment configurations to make the ride comfortable for riders of all shapes and sizes. This ergonomic chameleon of a cruiser enters the scene in 2023 with new colors.

The Vulcan comes in Metallic Flat Spark Black (non-ABS) and Pearl Matte Sage Green/Metallic Flat Spark Black (ABS). The Cafe version adds a little bling to the mix with a smoked front end, different tank badges and a new two-tone paint job with yellow accents and ‘sport stripes’.

To achieve a 27.8-inch seat height accessible to shorter riders, Kawasaki offset the rear shock and placed the battery next to it instead of under it. The adjustable preload shock has 3.2 inches of travel, and the front 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork has 5.1 inches.

The Vulkan S has a reconfigured version Ninja 650649cc liquid-cooled parallel twin that provides smooth acceleration and comfort for the new rider. The exhaust is hidden underneath, keeping the mass low and centralized. Kawasaki also says this muffler design contributes to the bike’s strong low- and mid-range torque. Peak torque is claimed at 46.3 lb-ft. at 6600 rpm.

At its lowest price of $7,349, ABS is missing. Want ABS? This version will cost $7,899. Additional accessories and a different look for the Cafe version cost $8,099.
