Five people were seriously injured Saturday in a shooting in Blue Springs that police believe involved rival motorcycle clubs. Officers were dispatched to the area of US 40 and Adams Dairy Parkway around 8:50 p.m., said Jennifer Brady, spokeswoman for the Blue Springs Police Department.
Police found several injured just beyond the intersection, Brady said. Five people were taken to the hospital and are seriously injured.
Most of the people involved in the incident were on motorcycles, Brady said. Several arrests were made. Investigators are working to gather and clarify information about the suspects
