It’s been a long time since then Chevrolet Bel Air have left production, but enthusiasts are still breathing new life into the platform. This stunning blue restomod hides a completely updated set of components, and they end in a 640-horsepower supercharged V8. And now it can be yours for a whopping $ 350,000.
The LT4 V8 under the hood of this Bel Air is undoubtedly important as it offers modern pleasure, but other details make this build so special. The 8L90 automatic transmission transmits power to the rear wheels, and the RideTech air suspension smooths out bumps.
The transmission and suspension are housed on a custom Scott’s Hot Rods chassis, and all are stopped by large Wilwood six-piston brake calipers attached to slotted and drilled rotors. Custom 20-inch wheels encapsulate these brakes and are sticky Michelin Pilots’ Cup tires finish package. The rear tires also have a width of 345 mm, so turning off the power will not be a problem.

These are small touches, though it may be the most impressive in this regard a classic American coupe. Outwardly avid Bel-Air fans note the small rips that the body has undergone to get a clearer look. Inside the cabin it is just as detailed.
The period is correct Dakota digital appliances sit in front of the driver, and the transmission is controlled by a Lokar switch. The Vintage Air system looks almost factory, but provides modern climate control. Also included is a Rockford Fosgate sound system with a 4-watt 400-watt AMP so the buyer can enjoy modern sound quality.
Even the tips of the exhaust gases get their special treatment. They were built in an oval shape to avoid scratches, scratches and other damage that can occur as a result of lower road heights. This is not the first time Retro design worked with Bel Air, and here is his experience.
