Ford continues to fight with getting enough Broncos delivered to customers, but this delay is due to a lack of chips. Despite this, in April Ford sold 13,113 Bronco to the US – more than a month since its launch in June 2021.

Webasto had to do everything with Ford correctly, given the size of the Bronco contract.

The deal will lead to Webasto sales of $ 2 billion over its eight-year lifetime (2018-2026).

Webasto estimates that the Bronco will account for 20 percent of total sales in the Americas region, which includes Canada and Mexico, starting this year and continuing over the next few years.

Webasto plans to build 1 million roof systems for the Bronco, which has six options, ranging from soft roofs and hard roofs to double roofs.

By the end of this year, Webasto is investing about $ 214 million in the Bronco project.
