Hero Splendor + XTEC comes with a 5-year warranty.

On Thursday, Hero MotoCorp announced the launch of Splendor + XTEC at a starting price ₹72,900 (former showroom, Delhi). The 100cc suburban motorcycle comes with a variety of technologies and features, according to Hero MotoCorp. In addition, Hero MotoCorp claims that Splendor + XTEC comes with a five-year warranty.

Speaking of the technology and features available in the new Hero Splendor + XTEC, it gets a fully digital meter with Bluetooth connectivity, call alert and SMS, real-time mileage indicator (RTMI), low fuel indicator, LED high-intensity light bulb, high intensity USB device, motor with side rack disconnected. It also comes with the popular i3S technology for two-wheeled giants, which is a stop-start system at idle.

In terms of design, the Hero Splendor + XTEC comes with an LED parking light and new graphics. The rest of the profile remains the same. It is available in four different color options – Shiny Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Gray and Pearl White.

For safety, in addition to visually indicating the side rack and disabling the side rack motor, the new Splendor + XTEC also comes with a tilt sensor that shuts off the engine during a fall.

Power supply for the new Hero Splendor + XTEC is a 97.2 cc, BS-VI compatible engine with a maximum output of 7.9 hp. at 7,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Speaking about the motorcycle, Malo Le Mason, head of strategy and global product planning at Hero MotoCorp, said the Splendor + XTEC model comes with technologically advanced features and a smart modern design. He also said that the new motorcycle was the latest addition to the XTEC technology umbrella, which has been a pretty good success since its launch on Hero Glamor 125, Pleasure + 110 and Destinations 125.
