The multi-year deal sees MV Agusta’s North American subsidiary KTM AG distribute, promote and provide customer service for the MV Agusta motorcycle line. The power of the brand and the exclusivity of its motorcycles, a symbol of Italian design and engineering excellence, as well as the broad and solid commercial organization of KTM AG will support the growth of MV Agusta in the North American region.

The agreement is part of MV Agusta’s strategic plan for significant growth in the coming years. The KTM AG Group will create a separate legal entity in the US that will be responsible for all MV Agusta operations in North America. Going forward, MV Agusta motorcycles will be distributed both through selected KTM AG dealers and through existing and new MV Agusta stores.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta Motor SpA, commented: “I am delighted with this agreement between two historic European motorcycle manufacturers. I am confident that KTM’s extensive and professional sales organization, combined with the strong appeal of our brand in the region, will be of great benefit to both companies. Through our collaboration, we will create synergies that will allow us to accelerate our growth strategy in North America.”

Hubert Trunkenpolz, member of the executive board of KTM AG, said: “We are very excited to start a new partnership with such a historic motorcycle brand. Our brands are becoming stronger globally, especially in North America, where we will exceed 100,000 sales in 2022 with the KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS motorcycle brands. The distribution of the MV Agusta brand will complement our extensive range of premium motorcycles. With the addition of Italy’s most iconic luxury motorcycle brand to our North American KTM operations, we are able to provide support to all motorcycle enthusiasts in North America, while also opening up exciting new business opportunities for existing and new dealers.”
