Day after day Remco Evenepoel impresses more and more. The only question is how well he will last in the second part of the race, which starts today with the 11th stage of La Vuelta a Espana 2022.
Vuelta a España 2022 stage 11 or preview
There is absolutely no chance that a sprinter will not win this stage. The only thing in between Mads Pedersen and his first green jersey victory in a grand tour is a positive result of a lateral flow or accident.
Otherwise, the job is done and he has the team to help him finally get his hands on this Vuelta. With Sam Bennett gone, his biggest contender for the stage win Tim Merlier
The Belgian champion has yet to win, but usually builds form as the race progresses. He has the full support of his team, probably the fastest man in the peloton.
Daniel McClay also showed good form and his team Arkea Samsic will be ready to put him in the best position to get some UCI points.
Caden Groves and Pascal Ackerman these are two pure sprinters who, unlike the above, will not have full support from their teams as their main man requires defensive resources.
Finally, the man who engineered Sam Bennett’s Stage 2 win, Danny Van Poppel will have its chances. He looks extremely sharp. The top speed may not be the same, but his intelligence is there.
Prediction for the 11th stage of La Vuelta Spain 2022
