New Delhi, November 21: Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India on Monday announced that it has appointed Lance Bennett as Vice President of Sales and Marketing effective February 1, 2023. Bennett is currently CEO and Director of Sales at Mercedes-Benz New Zealand, marketing and after-sales support for passenger cars – will succeed Santosh Iyer, who has become the managing director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India from January 1, 2023, the company said in a statement. Elon Musk and Twitter are on a risky path, says TikTok CEO Shaw Ji Chu.
“We are confident that Lance, with his experience in the international market and proven reputation for customer excellence, will continue the growth momentum of Mercedes-Benz in India,” said Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Martin Schwenk. Bob Iger returns as Walt Disney CEO, Bob Chapek steps down amid company’s plan to cut workforce.
Bennett began his career with Mercedes-Benz New Zealand in 2005 as a management accountant and has since held several senior management positions in the automotive industry, including in the US, Australia and New Zealand. He rejoined Mercedes-Benz New Zealand in 2019 as CFO and moved up to CEO and director of the company in the same year, the company said.
