As the company becomes the first public electric vehicle (EV) motorcycle company in the US, LiveWire is opening reservations for the production version of the S2 Del Mar all-electric motorcycle, the first LiveWire model to feature the new ARROW architecture and the first bike to stand alongside LiveWire ONE, the flagship electric motorcycle companies.

  • The production version of the S2 Del Mar will arrive right after the Launch Edition, which sold out in 18 minutes last May.
  • Priority shipping will be given to customers with confirmed bookings that can be placed now at expected delivery in spring 2023.
  • Del Mar Launch Edition models will be available in three unique colors: Pacific Gray, Nightfall Blue and Asphalt Black for an MSRP of $16,999.

Advanced LiveWire ARROW architecture

LiveWire’s scalable ARROW architecture with its own battery, motor, charging and control systems debuts on the Del Mar model and was developed at LiveWire Labs in Mountain View, California. The ARROW architecture is intended to be modular and serve as the central component of the motorcycle chassis.

The Del Mar is designed to offer its rider thrilling performance with a target output of 80 horsepower (59.6 kilowatts), delivering a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds. The city range is expected to be 110 miles. The target weight for the Del Mar model is 431 pounds.

Built for maneuverability and soulful design, the S2 Del Mar is the epitome of urban driving and beyond. LiveWire’s newest electric riding experience features an upright position for a comfortable and controlled ride. Equipped with specially designed LiveWire Dunlop DT1 tires, equally capable of performing on asphalt and dirt surfaces, the Del Mar’s capabilities are not compromised by road conditions.

Production model

Equipped with L1 and L2 charging capabilities, wireless updates and a 4-inch TFT LCD display, the ride is instantly different and instantly familiar with LiveWire. The 10.5 kilowatt-hour battery powering the bike is a central component of the Arrow’s architecture and LiveWire’s first clean sheet of in-house design. Full performance and hardware specifications will be released at retail launch.

The production S2 Del Mar debuts with an MSRP of $16,999. Delivery of the serial version is planned after the Launch Edition, the expected schedule is spring 2023. All LiveWire S2 Del Mar motorcycles will be assembled at Harley-Davidson Vehicle Operations in York, Pennsylvania.
