But now it introduces another version of the electric luxury sedan called the Grand Touring Performance, which has a slightly lower power than the Dream Edition Performance, and is much more expensive. Lucid claims that the unproductive version of the Grand Touring has already started coming to customers, and it provides 819 horsepower for $ 140,500. The Grand Touring Performance has much more power than the two electric motors – 1,050 hp, to be exact – but no pretty as much as 1111 hp Dream Edition Performance models. And yet, the Grand Touring Performance costs $ 180,500, or $ 10,000 more than Dream Edition.
And this despite the fact that the Grand Touring model lacks a more beautiful interior package Dream Edition “Santa Monica” with more refined materials. The Grand Touring Performance also has a slightly lower range rating, and Lucid claims it can go 446 miles on a charge compared to the Dream Edition’s 451 mile EPA performance rating. Of course, if the range is your priority, you should still choose the unproductive Grand Touring model, which is designed for distances up to 516 miles with base 19-inch wheels. (Oh, and there was also the Dream Edition Range model, which claimed it could go 520 miles on a charge).

We believe that this questionable price is what you have to pay to actually get one of these Lucid Air models with a capacity of 1000 liters and more. Now Lucid says deliveries of this new Grand Touring Performance model will begin in June for much of the U.S., but buyers in California will have to wait until August.
