The only sports car from Mercedes-AMG was named WILL.I.AMG.
Mercedes-AMG has partnered with American musician, tech entrepreneur and philanthropist Will.I.Am to create a disposable car based on AMG GT 4-door compartment. The premiere of this model will take place at the US Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami / Florida. This car was named WILL.I.AMG. The design of the sports car was significantly changed as part of a project called The Flip, which involved Mercedes-AMG and music.

The disposable sports car from Mercedes-AMG is in the design queue Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the popular SLS Gullwing. Mercedes-AMG said the artist has always been a Mercedes-AMG enthusiast looking to create his own Mercedes-AMG car. Will.I.Am said: “Now I have achieved my goal and moved even higher, rethinking and creating my own vision of the AMG model. But the engine I didn’t touch because AMG really makes the best engines. The story of the founders of AMG really inspires me, and it inspires me to work with like-minded people who are also striving for continuous improvement. ”

Mercedes-AMG shared that The Flip is a collaborative project to provide more students from vulnerable communities access to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to equip them with the skills needed for future-oriented work and to invent new technologies. Chairman of the Board of Mercedes-AMG GmbH Philipp Schimmer said that the success of Mercedes-AMG as a luxury brand is largely based on the inspiration of the next generation and giving them easy access to the latest technology and digital progress. “It is part of our tradition to always be a pioneer and dare to do something new. We continue this legacy into the future with will.i.am and The Flip, ”Shimmer said.
