The 2023 Mercedes GLC is likely to come with soft hybrid technology as well as with fake hybrid variants.

Mercedes-Benz On June 1, everyone is ready to remove the covers of the 2023 GLC SUV. The German automaker has published a teaser image of the future GLC before its world debut. The next-generation GLC SUV will come with several design updates and is expected to offer a range of more than 100km in electric mode in a hybrid version with a stand. The SUV will also get soft hybrid options.

The teaser image published by Mercedes shows a thin swivel cluster of SUV taillights. The design seems to be inspired by the S-Class taillights. The new generation of GLC is based on the same platform as C-class sedan. The German carmaker claims it will have an adjustable space that hints at sliding rear seats. As well as S-Class and the C-Class, the new GLC will feature the second-generation MBUX infotainment system (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) on an 11.9-inch central display. The driver’s display, which will be borrowed from the C-Class, measures 12.3 inches.

All engines of the new Mercedes GLC will be a soft hybrid of 48 volts or a plug-in hybrid and will be combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood, the new Mercedes GLC is likely to be offered with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 170 to 204 hp. A more powerful 2.0-liter engine with 258 hp can be offered. or a 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 163 to 265 hp.

There should also be a more powerful version under the AMG brand, which combines the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder M139 currently used on the A45 S. It comes with an electric motor and produces a maximum output of 503 hp. 4Matic all-wheel drive will be standard for the new GLC and will have an addition to certain driving modes in Off Road
