With just two races left in the regular season, NASCAR returns to New York State’s scenic track. in Richmond, Kevin Harvick bounced back for his second win of the season just a week after snapping a 65-race winless streak.

Ryan Blaney, for now it remains on the playoff bubble Martin Truex Jr sitting close to the playoffs. A win would lock up any of them, but Truex could potentially show him the way if he passes Blaney in the standings.

Christopher Buescher, as we now call him, nearly became the 16th different winner when he challenged Harvick for the lead late at Richmond. If one of the non-top 16 drivers, such as Buescher, wins at WGI or Daytona, it would put both Blaney and Truex in a must-win situation
