The Tata Harrier will have three new options that feature features such as a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels with diamond handling and IRVM with auto-dimming.
Dad Motors has introduced three new Harrier SUV variants. The automaker has updated its official website with options called XZS, XZS dual-tone and XZS Dark Edition. These options stand in between ₹20 lakhs and ₹21.60 lakhs (former exhibition hall). The new options come with many features that are missing in the lower versions of the flagship five-seater SUV. All of these options are equipped with a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
The new options will be just below the XZ + top specification options and the Kaziranga edition Harrier SUV. Some of the key features added to the new Harrier options include a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch two-tone diamond-alloy alloy wheels and IRVM with auto-dimming. The driver’s seat now has a six-way power adjustment function as well as adjustable lumbar support. However, Tata has not added features such as ventilated seats and technology cars with iRA connectivity in the new Harrier variants.
The rest of the SUV remains basically the same. Externally, the new Harrier options get projector headlights, which are the sides of the LED DRL. These options will have built-in turn indicators. Inside, the SUV will come with a standard infotainment system with an 8.8-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an air purifier and other features.
In terms of safety, the new Harrier options boast 6 airbags, a reversing camera, a cornering stability system, roll-over relief, hill and descent retention, traction control, ESP, ABS and cruise control.
The engine under the hood is the same as in other Harrier variants. The 20-liter in-line four-cylinder turbocharged unit can produce a maximum power of 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. While variants with a manual mechanism have a mileage of 16.35 km / l, automatic variants return a mileage of 14.6 km / l.
