Madison Snow placed the #1 BMW M4 GT3 on the second row for the team’s return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Setting a time of 1:16.004, Snow took the #1 P3 car and took the team’s first green flag at CTMP since 2018. Snow and Sellers finished fourth in that 2018 event.

For this weekend’s CTMP race, only Sprint Cup points can be earned. The Sprint Cup is a championship within a championship for races of two hours and 40 minutes or less. Paul Miller Racing currently leads the Sprint Cup standings by 134 points after a win at Long Beach, second at Mid-Ohio, third at Detroit and fourth at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

“I’m very pleased with our position in qualifying,” said Paul Miller Racing team principal Mitchell Simmons.

“We are especially happy after the recent performance balance changes. We didn’t have anything for the non-BoP cars, but compared to others it did very well.”

“Qualifying is very important here, so starting from the second row will hopefully give us an advantage in tomorrow’s race.”

“The car was good in practice and definitely even better in qualifying. We had a really good run from The Glen—and then we got a little better in the first practice, and a little better in the second practice, and now we had a really good car for qualifying. I really can’t think of anything I would change there, and after going over the data with Brian, it was a good round! I think we definitely have a good car for the race. I have not been here for a long time, but I want to say that it is difficult to walk here. There aren’t many hard braking zones, so qualification is very important here. Now we just have to go out there and see what we can do in the race.”
