Calais Ravanpera took the third consecutive victory in the World Rally Championship, increasing the advantage over Elfin Evans in the Rally of Portugal to nine seconds, remaining only a super special Fafe.

Evans, who led the rally for most of Friday and Saturday, has found a glimmer of hope that will be able to catch Ravanper to victory after passing the fastest in the previous test, the first run of Fafe.

But on Felgeiras Ravanpera recouped his previous losses and then some, winning the stage by 2.7 seconds.

Takamoto Katsuta continues to hold the last position on the podium and support Toyota’s hopes of blocking the podium by scoring 1.4 seconds on Dani Sordo to increase the overall gap to 2.2 seconds.
