The Yamaha XMax 250cc scooter has been released in a new special edition in the Brazilian market. The new model of the special edition was presented in the new edition of Darth Vader Edition. This special iteration of the model got its name from the legendary antagonist of the Star Wars universe, and also received a special exterior treatment inspired by an evil fictional character.

The externally new model of the Darth Vader edition comes with menacing black paint with red accents for sporty appeal. One of the key points of the new scooter is the use of a new front panel that resembles Darth Vader’s mask. This is further emphasized by the sharp and aggressive lines of the scooter’s headlight body line with the split headlights of the original XMax. It also gets the symbols of the Galactic Empire on the sides as well as on the front fender.

Apart from the updated design, the rest of the scooter remained the same. At the heart of the scooter – a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a capacity of 250 cc, which is known to provide a capacity of 22.8 liters. s. and 24.3 Nm of peak torque.

Equipment includes telescopic forks at the front and double shock absorbers at the rear, as well as disc brakes at both ends with ABS. The scooter runs on 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels with tires of size 120/70 (front) and 140/70 (rear).

In terms of features and equipment, it gets a fully digital dashboard, Bluetooth connectivity, full LED traction control and a 12V charging port.

It was valued at R $ 28,590, which is equivalent ₹4.50 lakhs. It is unlikely to be launched in the Indian market any time soon.
