All of the popular Vintage Indy cars are back at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, many for the first time in decades, on the SVRA Indy Speed Tour weekend, June 17-19. Fans of vintage racing had the privileged opportunity to watch the iconic cars of India’s past both on the road and on the historic oval during the three-day three-day weekend.

Vintage Indy Group has filled the garages of Formula 1 42 records – cars from almost every era of Indian car racing, 1911-2002, went on the track, as for the first time in three years, Vintage Indy cars switched to IMS.

Steve Francis won Saturday’s race with his 1968 Rear-engine Gilbert Cheat, followed by Dr. Dave Felgenhauer and Dave Roberts.
