Beijing (Gasgoo) – Chinese startup Skyworth Auto recorded significant growth in quarterly shipments from January to March, the startup announced on April 2.

In the third month of 2022, Skyworth Auto delivered 2,046 cars, 1,232 cars were in China and 814 abroad.

Since December 2021, Skyworth’s business performance has increased. In 2021, the company delivered a total of 4,088 cars, including 3,409 in December alone. In the first quarter of 2022, the company’s total deliveries amounted to 4,300 vehicles, exceeding the annual amount in 2021.

At the outset, Skyworth Auto set a goal of selling 30,000 vehicles worldwide by 2022, reaching at least 4.5 billion yuan ($ 706.82 million). The automated startup aims to deliver its EV6 600km package in the first quarter of 2022 and its intelligent 1,200km ET6-HTi hybrid model in the third quarter of this year. In addition, Skyworth Auto plans to complete work on developing its futuristic high-end model, dubbed CE11.

Skyworth Auto currently has 218 experience centers in China, 60 of which have been open in the last three months.
