Tata Motors officially launched the Nexon EV Max today in India at a price of 17.74 lakh (former showroom). The new Nexon EV MAX comes with the latest Ziptron high voltage technology. It comes in two versions – Nexon EV Max XZ + and Nexon EV Max XZ + Lux. The best Nexon EV Max XZ + Lux costs up to 19.24 lakhs. The Nexon EV Max gets two-tone color, alloy wheels with R16 diamond finish, front DRL and the EV logo. The new Nexon EV Max comes with a battery capacity of 40.5 kW / h, which is about 10 kW / h more than the standard Nexon EV. The larger battery allows the Nexon EV Max to offer 33 percent more battery capacity, providing an ARAI-certified range of 437 km.

The new Nexon EV Max produces 105 kW (143 PS) of power and provides an instantaneous torque of 250 Nm. It comes in two charging options – a 3.3 kW charger or a fast 7.2 kW AC charger.

Nexon EV Max gets three driving modes – environmentally friendly, urban and sporty. EV has eight new features in the updated ZConnect 2.0 connected car technology. Inside, the Nexon EV comes with an air purifier, a Harman infotainment system, front seats with leatherette ventilation, a wireless smartphone charger and more. For safety the EV gets ESP with i-VBAC, Hill Hold, Hill Descent Control, an electronic parking brake with automatic car hold and all 4-disc brakes. Check out the price of the option here.
