New Delhi, November 10: Zoom is partnering with Tesla, led by Elon Musk, to create video conferencing in its new electric cars. Zoom Group Product Manager Nitasha Walia said during the company’s “2022 Zoomtopia” event that video conferencing “will soon be standard on all new Tesla models.” “You zoomed from your home, your office, your phone and even your TV. We’re going to make it even easier for you to scale from anywhere,” she said during the event. Zoom crash: The video conferencing app is back after a brief crash.
Zoom also announced several new features at the event. With Zoom’s mail and calendar clients, users no longer need to leave the Zoom platform to access their email and calendar. Popular email and calendar services will be integrated directly into Zoom, meaning users will be able to quickly access their communications and schedules and be more efficient at work. CEO Elon Musk says Tesla’s Cybertruck will be waterproof enough to serve as a boat for a while.
“Zoom Mail and Calendar clients and Zoom Mail and Calendar services will be available in beta only in the US and Canada after launch,” the company said. Coming in early 2023, Zoom Spots are permanent video-enabled spaces integrated into the Zoom platform to foster inclusive discussions and connect with colleagues.
Zoom Virtual Agent, which will be available in early 2023, can be fully integrated with Zoom Contact Center and will also be offered as a standalone chatbot solution.
