The seventh-generation 3-Series has been refined and upgraded to keep up with new competition.
The 2023 BMW 3 Series was unveiled on Tuesday with large screens, revised style and a new location or origin for American models when they appear in July. Prices have not yet been announced.
BMW said all American 3-Series will now be produced at the automaker’s new plant in San Luis PotosÃ, Mexico.

The biggest change for the updated 3-Series is inside the cabin. Those sitting in front will be greeted by a wall with displays located under a curved piece of glass similar to electric crossover iX SUV and Electric car i4. The diagonal of the digital device is now 12.3 inches and the touch screen is 14.9 inches. The gearshift switch is now a toggle switch on the center console. Buyers will find Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard.

To notice the updated 3-Series that goes on the road, you need a watchful eye. The front and rear panels have been updated, but the changes are minimal. The grilles with kidneys look a little more pointed on the sides, and the LED headlights look slimmer, smoother and more refined, as in the last 5th series. A black trim, called the Shadowline in BMW, is now standard, while a satin-silver exterior trim will be an option for the base 330i and plug-in hybrid 330e.
Power units are transferred from the current model. The base models still have under the hood a 2.0-liter turbo-4 with 255 hp, and a returning turbo-6 with 382 hp. The plug-in hybrid remains the most environmentally friendly and efficient option with a net power of 288 hp. Fuel economy figures are not provided, but all models are powered by rear-wheel drive or an available all-wheel drive system via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The manual transmission is missing in the lineup even in the base car. Those who wish # ДайЗрух will come in handy buy m3.
The current 3 Series has automatic emergency braking as standard equipment and we expect this to continue. Advanced features are included in (probably expensive) option packages. Examples include active lane control, blind spot monitors and adaptive cruise control that allows limited hands-free driving under certain conditions.
