Cadillac opened orders for Lyriq 2023 today earlier, and the demand seems to have been great since they have all already been declared.
A note on the company’s website indicates that “pre-orders for 2023 Lyriq are filled,” but potential customers can still sign up for a spot on the pre-order waiting list. This means they could potentially get the 2023 Lyriq if it becomes available, but if not, they will be the first in line to pre-order the 2024 model.
Speaking of Lyriq 2024, Cadillac said initial deliveries are expected to begin in the spring of 2023. However, “full car specifications, features, prices and colors” will be announced closer to the start of production.
Going back to Lyriq 2023, it has a base price of $ 62,990 and is considered a “rare convergence of art, technology and performance”. It is equipped with a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 100 kW / h, which powers the electric motor installed behind, and develops 340 liters. This setup gives the crossover a range, according to EPA estimates, of 312 miles (502 km) on a single charge.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin this fall, and the model will follow all-wheel drive option early next year. The $ 64,990 crossover will have a two-engine all-wheel drive system that develops a combined power of approximately 500 liters.
The high demand for Lyriq is not surprising, as the debut edition of Lyriq was sold out in minutes and 70 percent of them were sold out by buyers-conquerors.
