Hot on the heels Prices for Cadillac Lyriq, Genesis announced a price for its own luxury electric crossover. The 2023 Genesis GV60 will be extremely competitive, with a lower base price, if not lower at all.

The base model is Advanced AWD, and it starts at $ 59,980, about $ 3,000 less than Cadillac. At 314 horsepower this is slightly less power than Cady, in addition, it has all-wheel drive, not rear-wheel drive. If power seems familiar, it’s because it’s basically the same engine setting as all-wheel drive Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 (not counting the upcoming EV6 GT). The range is 248 miles, which is less than in Hyundai or Kia with the same power transmission. That’s also less than the range of 312 miles of the base Cadillac.

The GV60 Advanced AWD comes pretty well equipped. Inside it has leather heated and ventilated front seats, Bang & Olufsen audio, dual 12.3-inch infotainment and instrument screens, display displays and a heat pump. It is also saturated with technologies such as charging from car to load, making it a mobile power source. Face recognition and fingerprint authentication allow you to access and start the machine without a key, as well as activate personal settings. It also has automatic emergency assistance brakingblind spot monitoring, lane centering, road sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, three-dimensional surveillance cameras, parking sensors, navigation and remote forward and backward movement to exit parking spaces.

The GV60s will also receive three years of free 30-minute charging at Electrify America stations.

Above the GV60 Advanced is the GV60 Performance AWD. It starts at $ 68,980 and delivers up to 429 horsepower, or 483 in “gain mode”. The power reserve is reduced to 235 miles with this finish. It’s also about $ 4,000 more expensive than the all-wheel drive Cadillac Lyriq, which will also have 500 horsepower.

The GW60 Performance AWD does include a number of subtleties besides extra power. The 20-inch wheels have been upgraded to 21-inch, and an adaptive suspension and rear differential with limited traction with electronic control have been installed. Inside the front seats get extra adjustments, heated rear seats and faux suede. Digital Key 2, which allows drivers to use their phone as a key and also allows them to share the key with others digitally.
