Bentley has unveiled its new two-door grand coupe, the Bentley Mulliner Batur. The new Bentley Batur features a new design that the ultra-premium automaker says will guide the development of Bentley’s future line of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). This new GT coupe is the successor to the Bentley Bacalar. Bentley reports that the Bentley Batur will be produced in just 18 units, each priced at €1.65 million.
Under the hood of the Bentley Batur is a hand-assembled 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbocharged engine. Calling the new GT coupe the most powerful Bentley ever, Batur promises more than 730 hp. and 1000 Nm of torque. In the Batur GT coupe, the W12 was mated to Bentley’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and a sports exhaust system to provide a soundtrack that matched the performance level. The entire exhaust system was made from titanium and the trim was 3D-printed from titanium, a first for the company.

The Bentley Batur comes with a powerful chassis system that gives the user the freedom to choose between ride comfort and body control with the four-mode Drive Dynamics Control system on the center console. You can choose between Sport, Bentley, Comfort and Custom modes.
Bentley Batur’s design reveals the design principles the luxury carmaker will follow in its upcoming electric car, which it will launch in 2025, and in the models that will follow that debut. Bentley design director Andreas Mindt said: “A sign of power and prestige has always been the long bonnet. Our new design cues include a line that runs from the hood across the length of the car, connecting the hood to the body, making the car look long and lean and giving the front end an elongated proportion. We call this feature the ‘endless hood’ and it’s single focus is on a sharper shape.”

Bentley reports that everyone has an endless choice of colors for their own Batur unit, from the full Mulliner color palette to completely custom paints and even hand-painted. The GT coupe is fitted with 22-inch wheels, with the ‘standard’ option painted in Crystal Black, then machined and polished. A darker version is also available in dark gloss with satin spokes.
The interior of Bentley Batur is created using ecological materials. Customers can choose from Low Carbon Leather, sustainably tanned leather available in five colors, and Dinamica, an alternative suede material instead of leather.
