The BorgWarner plant in Sriperumbudur near Chennai reported 1 million trouble-free operating hours. This milestone was marked by the fact that on May 6, 2022, the company was awarded the Company’s Internal Security CEO Award.

In addition to the recognition of BorgWarner’s top management, the award also included a $ 20,000 prize (approximately Rs 15 crore) to be donated to charities in the region, a tradition of the company.

Shailesh Ja, plant manager, BorgWarner Emissions, Thermal & Turbo Systems, Chennai said: “We are extremely proud to receive this award. Our high standards of workplace safety are really paying off, and the award has given us an incentive to continue to improve these measures. ” The award was presented by Dr. Sudhir лаawla.
