Both uses have predictable routes, allowing operators to accurately estimate how much energy they need daily. These machines also return to base daily at the end of their shift, offering the perfect opportunity for recharging. However, not in all automotive sectors it is so simple.

A good example at the opposite end of the spectrum is the heavy-duty long-distance transportation segment.
