The exclusive handcrafted Bentley Bacalar series is nearing completion

The last four Bentley Bacalars are currently in the final stages of preparation at Mulliner’s Crewe workshop.

Bentley Mulliner is in the final stages of completing an exclusive, handcrafted series of 12 of the rarest Bentley Bacalars. Mulliner’s latest bodybuilding program marks a return to producing exclusive Bentley series. The latest bodybuilding program includes 12 two-seater luxury open-air Bacalars, eight of which have already been delivered to their owners around the world. Each of these Bacalars features a unique color designed by its customers.

The final four Bentley Bacalars are currently in the final stages of preparation at Mulliner’s Crewe workshop for transport and delivery. Each machine takes about six months to complete, and final assignments and quality checks mark the end of the long and incredibly detailed process of crafting each Bacalar to the wishes of each owner.

In its latest bodybuilding program, Bacalars will receive a roofless Barchetta design with an all-new and very muscular body, and owners can choose from a variety of options and materials. As with every car in this series, which is strictly limited to 12 examples, all of the cars were specified by the owners, making them completely bespoke.

Each carbon-fiber-bodied Bacalar is finished with a paint color that is individual to each customer, with no two cars alike. The cars ride on unique 22-inch Tri-Finish wheels with polished faces, dark gray satin spokes and accented flares to complete the look.

Every unique design detail and feature in the cabin can emphasize the couch character of the car, with an almost infinite number of ways for 12 customers to express their personal taste and order a unique interior. “The design of the Bacalar is an exercise in imagination, with the material, color and finish of virtually every interior and exterior surface created to order,” said Maria Mulder, Head of Color, Materials and Trim at Bentley.
