The concept is built on Ford’s new rear-wheel drive / all-wheel drive EV platform and is about the size of the Aviator crossover, although it was designed with two rows instead of three to give passengers more space.

“It’s a new type of vehicle,” Kemal Kuric, Lincoln’s global design director, told reporters. “We want to be outstanding in the best sense.”

The exterior has a backlit Lincoln Star logo on the front and sides, as well as accent lighting on the front. The hood, which is lower than today’s Lincolns, is made of electrochromatic glass that changes from opaque to transparent to reveal what’s inside the front trunk.
