The new 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Off-Road Package provides added durability

• The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport will receive a new off-road focused package known as the Black Diamond Package.
• Available for $1,295, the package is available on the Big Bend and Outer Banks trims, and it increases the Bronco Sports’ off-road capability by adding steel skid plates for added underbody protection.

Ford is now offering a happy medium for buyers who are interested in them Bronco Sport off-road, but don’t want to jump for the reliably equipped Badlands edition. For $1,295, the Bronco Sport Black Diamond package closes the gap, giving customers a host of new graphics and, more importantly, adding protection for the Bronco Sport’s vital features.

Four steel skid plates provide additional protection to the underbody, including the fuel tank, as well as a front skid plate to protect the vehicle from particularly angular rocks. The new 17-inch rims are wrapped in a set of 225/65R17 all-terrain tires. As a bonus, the package comes with graphics on the hood, underbody and doors. The new package is limited to the Big Bend and Outer Banks trims, but the well-equipped Badlands won’t benefit as it already gets AT tires and skid plates to protect the transmission and fuel tank.

Ford has also announced that it will expand Bronco Off-Roadeo Program for 2023 Bronco Sports buyers. The program is available at four locations across the country and teaches new owners about the capabilities and, more importantly, the limitations of their vehicles. According to Ford, 90 percent of Bronco Sport customers who participate in the Off-Roadeo program are more likely to go off-road again, while 97 percent feel more confident driving off-road.
