The SEMA show is just around the corner, but the build-up has been quieter than usual as big names like Chevrolet, Ford and Honda supported this year’s event.

However, the show must go on, and Toyo Tires plans to have 28 new designs on display at their Treadpass display, which will also highlight their new Open Country R/T Trail tires. They are referred to as a hybrid offering that sits between traditional all-terrain tires and off-road tires.

Tires aside, John Sarkisian and S-Klub LA will be showing off their 1955 Mercedes 300 SL Widebody. Claimed to be the first widebody Gullwing ever built, it features a tubular landing gear, LS engine and Currie rear end. The car was also equipped with HRE rims and a “one-of-a-kind interior.”

Fans of Japanese sports cars can look to 1993 Mazda RX-7 by Sam Morris and Gooichi Motorsports. It has an LTO widebody kit and a high compression long rod M120 Mercedes V12 engine mated to an HGT sequential transmission. The model also features Dkubus Bergmeister rims shod with Toyo Proxes RR tires.

While Ford will not be officially present at the show, Treadpass will feature a range of different models. For the restomod crowd, there is a 1973 Ford Ranchero that was equipped with a 5.0L Coyote V8. The truck also features a handcrafted grille, custom bumpers, and a custom bed with integrated taillights.

The updates continue inside the cabin with an “upgraded interior” that features custom seats as well as a unique center console and special door panels. They will be joined by a modified dashboard, new pressure gauges and a double din audio system.

There is 2021 for SUVs Ford Bronco by Ralph Holguin and RMD Garage. It features a Velocity Blue exterior with “one-of-a-kind rear bolt panel struts,” camouflaged taillights, tubular doors, and Open Country R/T Trail tires.

The Bronco has also been fitted with a “custom luxury interior” and will tow a rugged trailer equipped with solar equipment from Goal Zero.

Finally, the 2019 Audi RS3 will be race-ready and modified Ford Maverick. The latter has a full body kit consisting of a front air flap, fenders, grille, side skirts and tailgate spoiler. The truck also has a JBL audio system and Air Bag It suspension.
