Harrison Ford is about to enter a completely different galaxy.
The Star Wars franchise star joins the fast-growing Yellowstone The universe is in another prequel tentatively named 1932.
Ford will play alongside Oscar winner Helen Mirren, who hails from a completely different universe, after she starred in the latest film “Fast and Furious”.
1932 will be between the first prequel to Yellowstone, 1883, and the original Paramount + series.
Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner, was launched in 2018 and has won the favor of critics and viewers. It is about the family of ranch owners, the Duttons, who own vast territory (enough to surround the indigenous reserve), and all the trials and tribulations associated with trying to maintain control of the property. We described it as “Godfather on horseback».
1883, which began this year, is the story of Dathan’s origins. Obviously, it was quite successful that Paramount + decided to fill the gap for decades from 1932. If that works out, maybe we’ll see 1952 and 1972.
As for what 1932 will do, Paramount + says it will explore, “the beginning of the twentieth century, when pandemics, historical droughts, the end of the ban and the Great Depression – all affect the mountain west and the Duttons who call it home.”
Details of the roles of Ford and Mirren were not reported. Previously, they starred together in the movie “Mosquito Beach” in 1986.
Like the rest of the Yellowstone franchise, 1932 is crazy about the show’s creator Taylor Sheridan. The show will air on Paramount + in December.
