Tomorrow in India will launch the SUV Jeep Meridian: everything you need to know

The Jeep Meridian gets its power from the 2.0-liter FCA diesel engine.

Jeep India is ready to release its long-awaited Jeep Meridian premium SUV on May 19, 2022. The Jeep Meridian SUV has an appearance that makes it look like a larger version of the Jeep Compass, which is the most successful SUV from the iconic brand in India. Once launched, the Jeep Meridian SUV will compete with competitors such as the Skoda Kodiak and Toyota Fortuner.

Before the SUV hits the Indian market, here are all the details about the Jeep Meridian.

Colors Jeep Meridian

The Jeep Meridian SUV will be available in five different color options – pearl white, velvet red, techno green, Grigio Magnesio and Brilliant Black. The car will also be available in a two-tone finish.

Meridian jeep design

The premium SUV comes with Jeep’s branded vertical bars, a built-in front grille, on the sides of which are projector LED headlights with built-in LED daytime running lights. LED DRLs double as turn indicators. The SUV also has LED fog lights with turn functions located on the front bumper. It runs on 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels with Y-spokes. The rear profile of the SUV gets a thick chrome strip that runs across the width of the car. On its sides are smooth LED taillights. The Jeep used a lot of chrome finishes in the exterior of the SUV.

Salon Jeep Meridian

Jeep interior Meridian comes delivering a premium atmosphere through its overall look. It has many features, three-row seats and technology. The Meridian Jeep has a large 10.25-inch all-digital dashboard, complemented by a 10-inch free-standing touch-screen infotainment system that is the center of attention inside the cabin.

The touch infotainment system connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as multi-zone automatic climate control. In addition, the cabin also has a panoramic sunroof, electric rear door, 360-degree camera and six airbags.

Jeep Meridian engine

The Jeep Meridian gets its power from the 2.0-liter FCA diesel engine, which develops 170 horsepower and 350 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will also come with an all-wheel drive option.
