New Delhi, November 29: TVS Motor has launched a new special edition Apache RTR 160 4V priced at Rs 1,30,090 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The special edition TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes with not only cosmetic but also mechanical upgrades. The new Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition is available in the new Pearl White and Matte Black Special Edition colors.
In terms of cosmetic changes, the special edition bike comes with a black and red seat trim along with alloy wheels to offer a sporty-bold visual look. Mechanical changes to the special edition Apache RTR 160 4V sports bike include a new exhaust which TVS has dubbed the ‘Bullpup Exhaust’ with a more pleasing sound. The new changes could also make the bike lighter by a kilogram. The sports bike is also equipped with first-in-class adjustable brake and clutch levers.
The Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition is powered by the same 159.7cc SOHC fuel-injected, oil-cooled engine that produces 17.30bhp of power and 14.73Nm of peak torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. TVS Motor Company’s sales rose 2 percent in October 2022.
The special edition model comes with three driving modes – Urban, Rain and Sport. The bike also gets SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity. The instrument cluster has a gearshift indicator in addition to other usual information. The Apache special edition also comes with a front 270mm petal disc and rear 200mm petal disc, along with a double cradle frame and telescopic forks and a monoshock suspension setup.
