TVS is launching an updated iQube with a much higher range

TVS Motor has introduced an updated iQube electric scooter priced from Rs 98,564 to Rs 108,690 on the Delhi road, including FAME and other government subsidies, for iQube and iQube S finishes respectively.

The company has started booking as well as delivering an updated iQube, which is currently available in 33 cities and should reach another 52 cities in India.

TVS Motor also introduced the best version of the iQube ST, which claims a distance of 140 km on a single charge. The range has almost doubled compared to 75 km in economy mode in the outgoing model. Although pre-booking of this option with the feature has begun, TVS has not yet revealed the price of the iQube ST.

The updated iQube has retained its LED headlights and 12-inch wheels, but has gained many connectivity features that are driven by the various TFT devices offered. While the entry-level iQube gets a 5-inch unit that supports turn-by-turn navigation, the iQube S is equipped with a larger 7-inch TFT cluster that also offers music controls and personalization themes.

On the other hand, the ST variant has a 7-inch dashboard with a touch screen, which is also ready for OTA updates and also offers voice assistance.

The iQube and iQube S run on a 3.4 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a certified range of 100 km on a single charge. The iQube ST has received a larger battery with a capacity of 5.1 kW / h, which provides a range of 140 km, and is compatible with fast charging via a 1.5 kW charger that comes with the scooter.

Customers can also use chargers with a capacity of 950 watts and 650 watts, charging times of which are 3 and 4.5 hours, respectively.
