More than 20,000 orders have been placed all-electric ID. Buzzing in Europe, despite the fact that the van has not yet reached dealer showrooms.

Identity card. The Buzz is currently only offered in Europe with an 82kWh battery and rear-wheel drive in commercial or passenger versions.

“Even before the launch in our dealerships, since the start of pre-sales, we have already been able to sell more than 20,000 IDs. Buzz”, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand board member for sales and marketing Lars Krause. “With their availability in showrooms, we expect a further surge in demand.”

VW started production identity card. Buzz in Hanover, Germany in early June and aims to build 15,000 units by the end of the year. The company hopes to eventually produce up to 130,000 copies of the ID. Buzz every year. The first 6,000 units produced are expected to arrive at dealerships.

Confirmation identity card. Buzz’s popularity comes two months after Lars Krause said 10,000 orders had been placed despite not a single customer having had the chance to drive the electric van.

The only option of Art ID. Buzzing currently available to customers in Europe and has a WLTP range of 263 miles (423 km). Unfortunately, potential customers in the US will have to wait a little longer to receive their ID. Buzz, because it should appear on local roads with a long wheelbase only in 2024.
