Rolls-Royce will soon introduce its first EV, the Ghostand you can watch the unveiling live by tuning into the video below.

The Specter has been in the works for quite some time and recently completed a grueling test and development program that saw it travel some 1.5 million miles (2.5 million km) around the world. This is a very important car for Rolls-Royce as it will transition to an all-electric brand by 2030.

Visually, spy shots of the Specter have revealed that it will be similar to the brand’s current models. It will have a long hood, two doors and a sloping roofline. The traditional Rolls-Royce grille is also present at the front. Not only will the sleek design look good, but it’s also helped the automaker achieve a drag coefficient of just 0.25.

The car’s powertrain details have yet to be confirmed, but there’s a very good chance it will be the company’s most powerful and fastest production car yet.

It’s not easy electric transmission which will make Specter special. Rolls-Royce has developed a completely new suspension system for it that will use the car’s high-speed computing capabilities and read everything from the surface ahead using a satellite navigation system. This system will automatically disengage the anti-roll bars on straight sections of road, and as the car approaches a turn, the anti-roll bars disengage again, the shock absorbers stiffen and the full steering system engages.

Elsewhere, Rolls-Royce confirmed that the Specter is based on a new aluminum architecture and that many important body parts are also made from the lightweight material.
