You season 4 finally got a release date – two release dates to be exact, as the psychological thriller series will be split into two parts.
Announced on Tudum 2022Netflix has confirmed that the next part of Joe Goldberg’s story will be released in two parts. You are season 4 part 1 will be released on February 10, 2023, and part 2 will debut on the streaming service a month later. It is March 10, 2023.
The first teaser for Season 4 has also been released for you along with the launch date announcement, which you can watch below:
As the trailer suggests, Joe Goldberg is no longer “a handsome bookstore manager in New York, or a salesman in Los Angeles, or a loving husband in the suburbs.” Instead, he’ll be Professor Jonathan Moore in season 4, another reimagining that seemingly allowed Joe to put the past behind him.
Or so it seems. Joe suggests that his penchant for womanizing is a thing of the past, but it just so happens that several female characters – Marianne Tati Gabrielle, Amy Lee-Hickman’s Nadia and Charlotte Ritchie’s Kate – appear in the teaser as Penn Badgley as Joe says these words. We don’t know about you, but we don’t believe Joe. no. one. Bit.
Sure, viewers remember Marianne appearing in You Season 3, but when has that ever stopped Joe from going after whoever he wants? If we were Marien, we’d be looking over our shoulder.
The rest of the trailer showcases other supporting characters, including Ed Spielers’ Rhys and Tilly Keeper’s Lady Phoebe. Expect them all to be caught up in whatever Joe has planned in the next installment of the hit movie Netflix show.
There is no word on how many episodes “You” season 4 will contain. But given that the previous three series were 10 episodes each, we’d be surprised if series four didn’t have a similar number.
