The Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro it’s a truly remarkable hypercar, and YouTuber MrJWW recently had the chance to drive it around Silverstone.

As you probably already know, the AMR Pro is just a track-only version of the Valkyrie, and Aston Martin boldly claims it will be able to lap a lap as fast as an F1 car. It is extraordinarily fast, and although Nico Hulkenberg notes that the Formula 1 car delivers performance a couple of times higher than Valkyrie The way the AMR Pro accelerates and corners is enough to take your breath away.

The first half of the video shows MrJWW sitting in the passenger seat of the car as the popular Formula 1 driver instantly takes the car to the end from the moment he leaves the pit lane. The sound of the naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 is likely to be the first thing to grab your attention, followed by the tight shifts of the gearbox. Then, when you look through the windshield, you start to notice how fast the car is.

After a few hot laps, MrJWW spoke to Hulkenberg about the car, who said they were reaching speeds of up to 2.5G in some corners and up to 3G under hard braking.

However, there are a few things Hulkenberg would change if this were his personal car. He notes that there was too much understeer in the front end, and that he would like to adjust both the aerodynamic balance and the brake balance.
