Corvette will continue with dual IMSA/WEC campaigns

Corvette Racing will continue its split strategy, competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the FIA ​​World Endurance Championship.

On the home front, GTD Pro is where Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia and Jordan Taylor will battle for their third championship title as teammates. Second champion Tommy Milner, who spent the season driving Corvette in the WEC, is set to return home to join Garcia and Taylor as the third driver in the V8-powered Corvette C8.R to compete in IMSA endurance events at Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta .

In addition to his racing duties, Milner will spearhead the brand’s testing and development efforts to prepare the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R for its 2024 debut.

Looking ahead to the WEC, Corvette will move from its current GTE Pro class, which will be closed at the end of the season, and enter the GTE Am category, which requires a professional driver line-up. Factory Corvette Pro driver Nicky Katsberg will welcome IMSA champion Ben Keating as the Am co-driver; The third member of the management rotation will be named at a later date.
